
In the 60's the eyes were the focal point of the face. Eye makeup was smokey, dramatic, cat-like, curled and long lashes, dark eyeshadows. The use of fake eyelashes became very popular as a way to experiment with different colors, hairstyles, clothes, and accessories.

Women have never looked lovelier than they did in the Sixties. The make-up was truly flattering -- especially the eye make-up -- and the hair styles and all those glorious clothes made it perfection. *sigh*

miss pamela! and all my other faves from when i was a bitty kid and my mother was deep into 60's fashion. i agree, women have never looked lovelier or more groovy than they did in the 60's. it's seriously classic.
