Some scans from Vogue's January 15, 1971 issue. Editorials photographed in Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago. Lots of gladiator sandals featured. I can't wait to go on my vacation! I'm going to London and Paris to visit a friend.
Great pics as usual. May I make a suggestion? If you could get hold of them, the late sixties/early seventies issues of the teen magazine Rave should find you a lot of good fashion and stuff from that era. Vogue, while it contains very beautiful stuff was only really for the very wealthy and a lot of it never got into the mainstream.
I believe that the current editor-in-chief of American Vogue is Anna Wintour, noted for her trademark bob and her practice of wearing sunglasses indoors.
