Wow! amazing pictures, and so many I've never seen before
Love them! Thanks for having the patience to scan. What a treat.
Oh and I gotta say I particularly love the images from Truman Capote's Black and White Party. Is that Penelope Tree?
Oh no, the last one is really... hairy!:D Scary
Btw I love the pictures you choose, here it's especally the one of Uschi Obermaier in a tuxedo, which is very hard to find in the internet. So your blog is a perfect source for pictures!;)
I love your posts, glad to have you back!
Great pics as always! So many faves: Mick, Marianne and Delon, Macca and a delicious looking Jane Asher, Jane Birkin's ta-ta's,a groovy Francoise Hardy pic etc. Btw who's the gal w/ Herman?
Fantastic pictures. Thanks for sharing and appreciate the scanwork. I agree ^ that Mick,Marianne & Delon picture is epic and a rarity.
@wilthomer - the girl with Herman/Peter Noone is Mireille Strasser his French wife of over 40 years now.My mother, who's a friend of Mireille, remembers it was love like at first sight when Peter & Mireille met.Mireille didn't know who he was.
My name is Cristiane, I am Brazilian and I love your blog. Sorry for bad English!

who are the people in pic 16?
the picture of kim moon and keith moon is possibly my favourite, i'm lucky enough to have the original picture which i bought from a vintage dealer.
@Anonymous - pic 16 is of Charlotte Rampling and maybe american actor Barry Newman. Not sure about him.
I love your blog. I'm 54 and I remember when these fashions, makeup, music, etc. were popular. I remember most of the people as well. It's quite heartening to me to see someone putting these wonderful photos together.
One teeny-weeny request... is it possible for you to name the people in the photos?
I love your blog.
I only got about 50% of the people there.
It's amazing to me how these things and people are important and yet, life goes on, history loses track and a new "in" crowd comes along.
The pictures and history are inspiring. Thanks for posting!
there is noooo doubt that i was born in the wrong era. looks so fun! x x x <3
I love the Keith and Anita's picture! :)
That last image is a stunner! Great post, as usual :)
Also - I know the '50s aren't your thing as much, but do you think you could do a James Dean post sometime? Pretty please??
